Paracord care

General

  • Avoid chemical such as bleach which may weaken the nylon
  • Avoid extreme heat and open flames. Paracord will melt when it comes in contact with an open flame. Melted paracord becomes molten and can stick to skin causing burns.

Cleaning

  • Paracord cuffs – soak in lukewarm soapy water, can be scrubbed gently with a toothbrush or nail brush. Rinse in fresh clean water. Allow to air dry completely
  • Paracord floggers – Soak the falls in lukewarm soapy water, rinse in fresh clean water. Allow to air dry completely. Handle section should be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
